Kick-Ass (2010)
Based on a comic book, the movie is a violent, profane satire of comic book movies — and it’s a lot of fun. Chloe Grace Moretz, just 11 when the film was made, is a real discovery as superhero Hit Girl, walking the line between adorable and trained killer.

This movie had so much potential, but really fell short b/c of the gratuitous amount of filthy language and graphic blood and gore. Take out half the f-bombs and the gore, and this movie would've been a 4 (our of 5 stars), instead of a 2, in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was closer to four stars, but opinions were very divided on this movie. It was an adaption of a comic book/graphic novel, so I'm assuming it tried to stay true to that.
